  1. Isn’t it strange where our life’s path takes us? You left Canada for Japan (perhaps temporarily), and I’d leave Australia for Canada, particularly Vancouver.
Travel safe on your life’s path 🙂

  2. Hey!

    1. I usually use the application on my phone to search tags that I find interesting. One of the tags you connected to your post likely brought my attention to it. Thanks for dropping by. Cheers Dave

  3. You remind me of a pirate… your face… I have seen in a movie. I know its not you.. but.. Its similar and every time I click back to this blog I end up on IMDB trying to figure out what pirate you remind me of. No luck yet…

Thank you for liking my post(s). Appreciated. I am irreverent in my comments usually… not intentionally.. but my mouth beats my brain every time… so, boot me if you don’t approve. 🙂 But for now, I am a follower.

    1. I think for obvious reasons, yours may be my favourite comment I have ever received. Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by and let me know what pirate I look like when you find out. I’m dying to know.

      1. Haha. Glad you are amused. In my defense… Black Sails was lame.. and I only watched one episode.. which is why that took me so long. Or you would have had my weirdo comment sooner…

      2. … just so you know, that makes YOU the weirdo 😛 But I shall not point fingers… I am the poster child for random, odd and inappropriate. 🙂 Let me know what they say 🙂

  4. Hi CDJ, Thanks for liking my post. I studied in China and taught English in Taiwan in 1988/1990. Found that being immersed in a language and culture so different from my own stretched the mind, brain and imagination. Hope your writing journey evolves into all you want it to be.

    1. So kind of you to drop by and comment, I really appreciate that. It certainly is quite a ride being in a foreign country. One it seems like both you and I will never forget.

  5. Thanks for liking my post. You have a wonderful blog. I took Japanese for 2 years in college, but forgot most of it, because I didn’t have anyone to practice with… You must be learning it well, by living in Japan.

I am glad you found my blog… 🙂

  6. Arigatou for visiting my blog and liking my posts! 🙂 I love the Japanese culture and also aspire to learn the language one day. Good luck in your writing ventures 🙂

  7. Hey Charles thank you for dropping by my blog. I will certainly drop by here again … A delight to find a treasure chest full of the written word in many forms … What a feast!
    Kind Regards Mzrubyred 😉

  8. Konichi wa. This Canadian is flying to Osaka, Japan on Wednesday. We’ll be there for three weeks, mostly in Nagoya. We lived there for two years from 1983-85. I too am an author. I’m having one of my books translated into Japanese. I wish you the best in your writing endeavours.

  9. Thank you for recently liking one of my posts. I’ll be interested to look at your YouTube channels tomorrow when I have an opportunity. I hope you’ll follow my writing and offer feedback as you feel necessary. I’m starting a co-authored book soon and am quite interested in writing my own book chronicling my journey since the spinal cord injury.

    Best Wishes!
